5 Months and so much FUN!!!

I cannot believe that these little guys are already 5 months old. They are giggling and smiling and showing us their cute little personalities.
I love it!

Chayce
is definitely a grabber. He always has his hands on Chandler's shirt, grabbing his pacifier or anyone's hair that is long enough to grab hold of.

Chandler
is a mover. When he is in his crib where ever we lay him down he scoots all over the place on his back. I can't keep him on a blanket because he is always moving.

They are teething.
Both babies are chewing on their fingers and what ever else they can put in their mouths.

Raegan is an awesome babysitter.

Chayce

Chandler

I put them to bed on the opposite sides of their crib and when I went in to check on them this is how I found them. They love to snuggle up that is when Chayce isn't grabbing Chandler's face.
I look forward to every morning getting to go into their crib and see them grinning and giggling. This is way more fun than I ever thought. Hard work but super fun!!!

Morning Madness

Thank goodness I have pillows!
Wow sometimes it can get pretty harried around here! If both babies are needing to eat and Nicholas is needing me and Max wants something, sometimes I laugh and sometimes I cry. I usually try to hold my babies when I feed them but at this particular moment they were hungry and Nicholas NEEDED his mom! So the pillows would have to do.
It gets hard, I am not going to lie.
It gets redundant, tiring, emotional, stressful and some days I am just dieing to get out of my house. Most weeks it will be four days before I step foot out of my house and I am just yearning for change, the sun, conversation...anything!! This is definitely challenging in so many ways. I adore and love my kids, I love how close these boys are and I just have to tell myself that "this too shall pass" but then I feel bad and I am not sure I want it to pass so quickly, they won't be babies forever or for very long. I have to tell myself that there is a time and season for everything and someday I will be able to leave my house, go to the store when I want or even to the bathroom at my leisure. But for now this is my place, this is where I need to be and most days this is where I WANT to be.

Love these Bumbos (blue and green seats),
definitely a must for babies especially two of them!

Morning Playtime

3 Amigos
Chayce, Nicholas, Chandler
These three are so sweet! I adore them and I am so grateful that they are all so nice, even tempered little guys. I think they will grow up being the best of friends and probably get into a whole lot of trouble together.

Guess who is 4 months old...

I cannot believe that it has been four months since I gave birth to these two sweet, perfect baby boys. They are awesome.
We get to celebrate:
2 Smiles
2 Cries
2 Diapers at a time
2 Bottles
2 Blankets
2 Onesies
2 "You are the most wonderful person, I adore you" gazes
2 coos
2 Burps
2 spit ups
2 more worries
2 coughs
2 giggles
2 snuggles
2 squeals
2 in one bed
2 to make our family complete!Chad gave me this necklace for mother's day this year. It has the initials of all of our kids and the motto I live by (It helps me to remember even if Life doesn't always seem like it's good...it's still good).

Chandler and Chayce

They are always holding hands. I love that!!

Chandler and Chayce
They are now 4 months old,
Chandler weighs 15 pounds 2 ounces and
Chayce weighs 15 pounds 6 ounces.

They eat every 3-4 hours during the day.
They sleep 10 hours at night, in the same bed.
They squeal and coo and giggle.
They rarely cry and love to be held and talked to.
I absolutely love their "You are the best person ever and I adore you" gaze...it doesn't get better than that.

Chubby Cheeks

Look at how chubby they are getting.
Chayce likes his pacifier (pluggy) Chandler does not. His is just for decoration so we know who is who. Chandler is stronger than Chayce, they say that is typical for baby B to be stronger than baby A. I am sure he will catch up. They are sleeping about 10 hours through the night. They are smiling and giggling and love to see their brothers and sisters faces. They are a pure delight.

Can you believe how much these two boys are looking just alike?? It blows my mind to see them so similar.
I still am in shock at having TWO babies.

Last night they were sleeping and I couldn't believe how their arms are out like that, they love to sleep right next to each other, it's so sweet. There little cheeks are getting so fat...I love it!

Two Peas in a Pod

Chandler was so done with church,
Chayce tends to be a little more easy going.

They looked so cute in their "Peas in a Pod" outfits and matching hat. (my nephew told me that someday they will be very angry that I dressed them like vegetables...I think they look cute)

Today is Sunday. Today was the first Sunday that I went to all three hours with all of my children since the twins were born. Getting everyone ready was a feat in itself. I am exhausted! I felt like I was running a three ring circus, I came home sweaty! The babies were awesome, but they are babies and there are two of them and then you add my 15 month old Nicholas to the mix. WOW! I did have lots of help and willing hands to hold babies which was so nice and appreciated.
Who said that Sunday's are a day of rest???

After church...I guess it wasn't too bad since I am still smiling.

Here they are...ah natural!
So cute, I just had to take some pictures to see just how big they are getting. They are even getting cute little rolls on their legs. So sweet!

I love baby chub!

Beautiful Blessing Day

Today was a beautiful day!
Chayce and Chandler were blessed at church. It was a very sweet day for me. To have my Priesthood holding husband be able to bless them and then to sit on the bench at church and look down and see all of my nine healthy, happy children. It made me so grateful to be a mother. When I was younger I used to go into homes that had large families with lots of chaos and be envious. When I would say my prayers I used to ask to someday be blessed with lots of children. Those prayers were definitely answered and I will be forever grateful. I am also grateful for a husband who loves and supports me in this role.
I am truly blessed.

We had wonderful support at the blessing.
Cumin and MaryAnn Jones, Brian and Jessica Jones family, Stephanie and Scott Hatch family, Stacey and Kirk and their boys, Jake and Cilene, Todd and Benka Kerby family, Miki and Bryant and of course my great mom!

After the blessing we came back to my mom's house for dinner. While we were preparing the food Scott and Stephanie were nice enough to hold and feed the babies.

We had a Tostada Bar for dinner. Shredded beef, homemade beans, quacamole, salsa, spanish rice and all of the fixins. It was delicious! The Ellis family and the VanUiterts joined us for dinner. I am surrounded by the greatest people!!!

Bumbos and BYU

Chayce and Chandler

Our family has been really into the BYU Basketball season. We love watching the cougars play. Who doesn't have a little "Jimmer fever"? Chad always wears his BYU shirt the day of the game. He decided during half time he was going to spend some time holding these two future cougars.
Two days ago was the first time I got them really confused. I had fed Chandler but then he was accidentally put in Chayce's car seat. So when we got to my mom's house I was so confused as to why Chayce was so upset, I figured he had a sore tummy so I kept trying to burp him (thinking he was Chandler who had just eaten). I couldn't figure out why Chayce was sleeping so sound (which was actually Chandler who had just eaten), he should have been hungry. Well I finally figured out that I had confused who ate and who hadn't. Poor Chandler was crying not from a full upset tummy but from an empty one. I fed him and all was well. But oh my heck that was a crazy "lost my mind" moment.

Chayce

We got these Bumbos as a baby gift. I suggest everyone who has a baby get one. They are wonderful! It is so fun to see them sit up in them, they love it!
