First Christmas

 Our First Christmas...and we slept right through it!
 When they woke up these sweet boys loved opening up a couple of gifts.  Cars and books were what Santa brought them this year.
They were pleased!!
 Chandler is all smiles...CHEESE

Chayce loved his new cars

 They enjoyed their first taste of Jello.  Chayce liked it much more than Chandler.

Chandler loved hanging out with his cousin Jonni!

 What an eventful year 2011 has been.  We are so blessed and so grateful for the children in our family.  We have loved having the addition of these two little buddies.  They are a blessing in our family and so sweet.  We enjoy their spirits and their personalities.
Merry Christmas

My Christmas Poet

(picture is blurry, taken off of my phone)
Chad was watching the babies tonight while I was out with Raegan and Kalli. While I was gone he texted me this poem he made up, I thought it was way cute!

I love these boys; they're fun you see!
They crawl, giggle and laugh at me!

But puzzle me they do so very much;
For all the toys in the living room they do not touch!

For Christmas this year the elves need not make more toys;
Certainly not for these cute twin boys.

Santa head over to rubbermaid, glad and ziploc too;
For playing with pots, plastic and kitchen stuff is all they want to do!

So when you arrive home this night;
You may walk into the kitchen and have quite a fright.

But we haven't been robbed, ransacked or chased out of the house;
No this place is too frighteneing even for a mouse.

It's called Chayce and Chandler what more can I say;
But truth be told I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!

So as I look around this Christmas year;
I am reminded of all that I hold so dear!

It may be messy, chaotic and a little intense;
But my family is by far the greatest present!!!

What a sweet family I have been blessed with.  I am grateful everyday for my blessings.  And what a sweet husband I am lucky enough to call mine.
LIFE IS GOOD!

11 months on December 11

 I cannot believe these two boys are 11 months already.  Time has flown by this year.  I was told by other mothers of twins that the first year is a blur and it really is.  I am sad that they are growing up so fast.  They are so much fun and so full of energy and getting so big.
 Chayce
 Chandler

 Oh Christmas Tree...Our Christmas tree looks like Dr. Seuss threw up on it!  It is only decorated the top 2/3 of the tree but has the same amount of ornaments on it as if the whole tree was decorated.  This is not my year for a pretty tree or a pretty decorated house!

 Good Morning Boys!

 Chayce with his tongue out and Chandler with
his crinkled up nose

Happy Happy 11 Months!!!
*Both boys now crawling everywhere, no more worm crawl for Chandler
*Chayce is our "Houdini" he can escape from anywhere he finds it a challenge to get through the many blockades I set up around the house.  We are always "chasing" him!  He has already had two tumbles down our stairs, thank goodness we got our gate fixed because he is determined to break through all barriers.
*Chandler has turned into the cuddly one.  He is more of a mama's boy. (I LOVE IT)
*They are always hungry!  They both cry and are sad when the food runs out. (can you imagine my food bill with these boys and their four older brothers) They are enjoying more of the family meals and not just baby food.
*They both pull themselves up to the couch and walk along the front of it.
* Chayce has fallen flat on his face a couple of times because he thinks he can walk. (oh the stinker!!!)
*Sleep through the night, about 10 hours at a time.
*Hair is getting darker and curlier.
*Chayce has discovered his voice or should I say his scream.  He squeals at the top of his lungs and thinks it's so funny.  Chandler likes to chatter and say mama over and over.
*Starting to really bug their big brother Nicholas (only 1 year older than the twins).  They love to try to play with him but he sees it as them just taking his cars away from him.  Good thing he is so sweet and so patient.

Life is just getting a bit more challenging.  They are very busy boys with lots of energy.  I no longer get ANYTHING done, I have to be with them at all times or they get themselves into trouble. They are so much fun and so dang cute you can't help but smile at them no matter what they are doing.
